Pax A35 WiFi Setup Instructions

Connect Power

This device is powered using a USB C connection and outlet.

Home Screen

Navigate to the Home Screen. The quickest way if it is currently running the Portico app is to hold the red and green button till a prompt appears to restart the device.

Settings

 

Open the Settings menu by selecting the blue gear icon.

Select Network and Internet

It is advised to operate this on the WiFi network if possible. Open the WiFi settings.

WiFi Settings

In this menu select the 3 vertical dots in the top right and choose added network

Enter Network settings

SSID :

Security :

Password :

Open Advanced Options

IP Options : Static

IP address : 192.168.2.19X (Ask the IT Tech for set digit)

Subnet 255.255.255

Default Gateway : 192.168.2.1

DNS : 8.8.8.8

DNS2 : 8.8.4.4

Mac Options : Use Device Mac

Hidden Network : Yes

 

Remember to tap the save button.

Return to the home screen by pressing the back button in the top left. Or swipe up and press the home button.

Portico App

Open the Portico app. This device should now be ready to use. The IP address will need to be entered into Brink by GOSH IT.

Test

On the POS press the EMV button. The Pax A35 should now have the Tips prompt or a Total prompt.
